The Clickonit Business network South Africa Terms and Conditions
Clickonit will endeavour to supply you the platformsa and network meetings you need to succeed in the Corporate and Business world. We offer ways to enhance your business leadership skills, build network and mentor relationships and pursue your entrepreneurial skills.
1. Definitions:
Member means any Member of The Clickonit Business Network South Africa or any person or persons intending to or who have applied for membership of The Clickonit Business Network South Africa upon the terms and conditions contained herein.
Membership Year the Membership Year will run for 12 months from the date a Member joins The Clickonit Business Network South Africa.
Event or Events means any of the activities or events organised by The Clickonit Business Network South Africa for its Members.
Website means The Clickonit Business Network South Africa Website: www.clickonit.co.za.
2. Membership
Members of The Clickonit Business Network South Africa will be invited to attend events organised by The Clickonit Business Network South Africa. Details of such events will be uploaded on the Website as well as being emailed to all Members by e-newsletter. All other membership benefits (such as discounts for specific services) can be found within the Members Forum and will be offered directly by Members to Members. The The Clickonit Business Network South Africa cannot guarantee the availability of Member to Member offers, and any goods or services provided may be subject to additional conditions.
3. Membership Details
All applications for membership of The Clickonit Business Network South Africa are to be made via the Website application. By submitting the application online, the Member is deemed to have signed the application form. After completion of an application form, each new Member will receive a membership certificate. Membership Certificates will be issued at the next Business Network Breakfast/Meeting. On acceptance of the membership application by The Clickonit Business Network South Africa Members shall be bound during the continuance of membership by these Terms and Conditions including any amendments made in accordance with the procedure set out below. The Clickonit Business Network South Africa reserves the right at all times and in its absolute discretion to determine the number of Members in The Clickonit Business Network South Africa and may accept or reject applications for membership as it deems fit. All membership fees are payable in South African Rand, with preferred payment being an online payment. Payment can be made by EFT, Direct Deposit or by Credit Card. Membership fees are revised annually and will be notified to Members in writing.Clause 6 contains cancellation rights.
4. The Clickonit Business Network South Africa Members Area
Members will be asked to fill in all business and personal details such as name, e-mail address, services they offer, phone number, website details and whether or not they are willing to offer other Members a discount or other special offers on their services. Members will have the opportunity to choose which of their personal details they would like listing in the Members directory, which can be viewed by all Members. The Clickonit Business Network South Africa reserves the right to refuse access to the secure Members only pages. The Clickonit Business Network South Africa a shall not be liable for any loss or damages whatsoever arising from your inability to access any pages on the site.Any Member wishing to change, add or delete any information held on the Members only sections of the Website are able to do so by logging in and amending the details. 5. Discussion Forums

6. Members agree not to:
- post any material which infringes third party intellectual property rights;
- post any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive or otherwise objectionable on the Discussion Forum;
- use the Discussion Forum for any commercial purpose or to operate surveys, contests or chain letters;
- use the Discussion Forum to make complaints against individuals and/or organisations.
7. Events
Members will be informed of forthcoming Members Events by e-newsletter and/or on the Website and will be required to pay the Event attendance charges 7 days prior to the Event. Payment for attendance of an Event can be made online by debit or credit card payment. The Clickonit Business Network South Africa is not responsible or liable in any way whatsoever for the cancellation for whatever reason of an Event. If a Member has signed up to attend an Event but is unable to attend the Event, that Member must contact The Clickonit Business Network South Africa Head Office on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. If notification is received from a Member at least 72 hours prior to the event, a refund of Event attendance monies minus a cancellation fee determined per event is applicable.
8. Event bookings
All individuals, companies and their representatives must book ahead of the event they wish to attend. Prior booking is a prerequisite of admittance. Where no booking is made, entry cannot be guaranteed. In circumstances where no booking has been received, The Clickonit Business Network South Africa has sole discretion to allow members or not.
9. Proceedings
All network events and proceedings are in the sole discretion of the organizers of the Clickonit Business Network South Africa. Although standard proceedings are usually followed, it is a well-known fact that the Clickonit Business Network South Africa does not follow any flow, system or actions of other networks and businesses, but changes and leads the market. If any act in a meeting is allowed or performed, it does not guarantee that it would be repeated again. It is in the sole discretion of the attendee/member to mingle with other businesses, members, and partners. Clickonit creates platforms for members to interact and expose themselves. Clickonit will endeavour to assist where possible, but cannot guarantee any business, event or proceeding.
10. Variation of Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions may be revised from time to time. If they are revised, we will post the revised version to you or email them to you. It will be your responsibility to keep up-to date with all such changes and your membership renewal and continued use of the Website shall be deemed acceptance of any changes to these terms and conditions.
11. Data Protection and Intellectual Property
We will respect the privacy of your data which you supply to us in accordance with our Privacy Policy and forms part of these terms and conditions, and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and any other applicable data protection legislation. You agree that it is your responsibility to keep your data accurate and up to date and to send us new or revised data where appropriate. You further agree that we may use your data as set out in our Privacy Policy. It is your responsibility to keep your password/membership number and log-in details confidential and use the security devices offered. Our security measures depend on you complying with this obligation and we are not responsible for any breach of your privacy due to your failure either to keep your password/membership number secure or to use the other security devices correctly. We will use your data to administer your membership and Events you attend. When you attend an Event your name may be included on a delegate list. Where you obtain information about other Members you must use this in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Other Members may also use the personal data you make available in the Members directory. Do not make any information public which you do not want other Members to see. These terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with South African Law and all disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African Courts.

17. Terminating Membership
Membership is to be renewed annually. The Clickonit Business Network South Africa will email each Member once the membership is up to renewal. If a Member does not pay the annual membership fee then the membership is not continued and the Member will not have the benefit of membership. The Clickonit Business Network South Africa reserves the right to expel Members or to prevent any Member from participating in any Event or from renewing membership if the Member puts the organisation into disrepute or if a Member continuously fails to attend events which he/she has signed up to or if the Member is abusing the membership forum or the discussion forum (for example, using the discussion forum to send chain letters, mass mailing etc.) If, for whatever reason, a Member wishes to terminate his/her Membership, he/she must give 30 days notice in writing to The Clickonit Business Network South Africa . No refunds are offered if membership is cancelled for whatever reason before the renewal date, and member agrees thereto.
18. New Business
Dealings with any members, partners, associates or advertisers are entirely between you and the company directly.
19. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless, The Clickonit Business Network South Africa, its members, officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any claims, actions or demands, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, alleging or resulting from your use of any network event, online content, services, or your breach of the terms of these Terms and Conditions.
